The PhD Committee
The responsibility of the PhD Committee is to assure the quality of the PhD programme at the Faculty of Humanities. This is done through ongoing discussions of topics of relevance to the PhD programme at the faculty. For example, the PhD committee will follow up on the WPA and employment satisfaction survey with a view to creating good wellbeing among the PhD students.
The PhD Committee is working to ensure that all PhD students have PDR, and that the guidelines for the PhD students ' work obligations are identical. In addition, the Committee processes applications for PhD courses, credit transfers and exemptions. Therefore, PhD students at the faculty have the opportunity to contact their department representative in the PhD Committee with a view to bringing relevant issues to the agenda.
Please see the action plan of the PhD Committee (pdf).
