The PhD programme
The PhD programme at the Faculty of Humanities has a duration of 3 years. In this time, the PhD student will be engaged in a variety of activities required to complete the programme. In addition to conducting research and writing a PhD thesis under expert supervision, PhD students are formally required to disseminate their research, complete relevant PhD courses and change research environment.
The programme ends by submitting a thesis for assessment by an international committee and by publicly defending the thesis. PhD degrees are awarded by the Faculty Academic Council.
